A rezoning request has been submitted for office space at 2148 Bankhead Highway in Carrollton to establish an adult day-care facility on the property. According to Artagus Newell, zoning administrator for Carroll County, the rezoning request was submitted by A & R Real Estate Investments, LLC.
“The request states that the facility will be for adults, and would not be an overnight facility,” said Newell. If approved, the property will be rezoned from Commercial use to Office/Institutional use. County Planning and Zoning officials are expected to decide on the request during their next meeting on June 27th.
