The Gazebo at Tisinger Lake Seeks Event Permit

Owners of The Gazebo at Tisinger Lake are requesting a conditional use permit from the Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission. The business was recently established in 2015, and serves as a local event center.

“We host a lot of family reunions and things like that here,” said Agnes Mitchell, owner. “We welcome those who want to host many kinds of events, including church events, weddings, or photo shoots.”

Mitchell submitted the request, which is set to be visited by the Commission during its upcoming meeting. The Gazebo at Tisinger Lake is located at 5200 Smithfield Road in Bowdon.
“We are hoping it gets approval so we can continue renting the property out to people who want to hold events here,” said Mitchell.

The Gazebo at Tisinger Lake is located on a picturesque and private section of property on Tisinger Lake. With more than 700 feet of lakefront, the location is ideal for those seeking a venue for private events with scenic views.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is set to rule on the request at their next meeting on June 27.
