Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity ReStore Moving to Shenandoah Plaza Shopping Center

The Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is moving from its current location at 150 Pine Road to Shenandoah Plaza Shopping Center. NCHFH officials say the new location is expected to open in mid-November this year.

“We are getting ready to remodel the interior of our new location,” said Executive Director Christina Bowerman. “The location was previously used as an office space, so we are clearing it out and getting everything up to code before we will start moving our inventory.”

Bowerman said ReStore is relocating to a more suitable space in order to better serve its customers.

“We are moving to a location that is right in the heart of the Newnan retail scene,” said Bowerman. “Lots of people didn’t realize we had a store in Newnan, so we wanted to move to a more visible location.”

The store offers a wide variety of repurposed items for discounted prices.

“Our motto is ‘ReStore, reuse, repurpose,’” said Bowerman. “We sell appliances, building material, sporting equipment, furniture, and many other items that are donated to our store from local retailers and individuals. We offer items for 40 to 90 percent off retail price. Some of those items are brand new, and some are previously owned.”
