(Last Updated On: December 21, 2017)

Centralhatchee may soon see a famous neighborhood staple come to town. Dollar General is proposing to build a new store in the area. The location of the new Dollar General was confirmed by City Clerk of Centralhatchee, Linda Rogers. It will be located at the corner of Joe Cook Road and Highway 27. Construction is pending the closing sale of property, but Dollar General and the City of Centralhatchee have approved this location. Mrs. Rogers tells us it might open later this year. New stores are also under construction in Temple and Franklin at this time. We will keep you posted as we learn more. In other news, Centralhatchee’s new City Hall opened the first week of May! We will have open house information added later this month.
