Villa Rica Area Historical Society set to host “Raising Your Voice for History”

In partnership with WCCI Villa Rica Community Coalition, the Villa Rica Area Historical Society will host “Raising Your Voice for History”, a gospel choir contest on Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m.

The grand prize winner of the showcase will appear in Villa Rica’s first Christmas parade and perform on the Thomas A. Dorsey stage.

In addition to the showcasing some of west Georgia’s musical talents, the VRAHS hope to share information about local history, including the Hart House.

The artist showcase and community talk will take place at World Changers Church International located at 206 North Avenue.

The Villa Rica Area Historical Society, Inc. (VRAHS) promotes an understanding and appreciation of West Georgia’s cultural heritage. For more information, please contact [email protected].
