RaceTrac’s presence in Douglas County continues to grow as the construction of a new station at the corner of Blairs Bridge Road and Thronton Road in Lithia Springs nears completion. The store is set to open sometime around late March.

“We are excited to grow our presence in Douglas County, as we currently have three locations in the area,” explained RaceTrac Communications Manager Liz McIntyre.

The new location will feature ample seating, free WiFi, a coffee area with various toppings and space to create the perfect cup of coffee, and Swirl World— a self-serve frozen dessert station with up to 10 flavors and over 40 toppings. The store will also feature an expanded “Made-to-Order” menu that includes sandwiches, milkshakes, pizza, and smoothies.

“These new stores will have a more shoppable layout and more lighting in the store and parking lot to deliver a better guest experience,” said McIntyre.

However, the biggest feature of the Lithia Springs location are dedicated fueling stations for automobiles and trucks and in-store services for professional drivers.

“This location is the first of its kind—it will feature the products that guests love and services that professional drivers need,” said McIntyre.

Professional drivers will be able to take advantage of a variety of unique services, including ATM/Money orders, a certified truck scale, copy/fax machine access, and accepted payment options such as Comdata, EFS, T-Check, TCH and Fleet1.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the third-generation led, family-owned gas station empire has been serving guests since 1934 and now operates more than 450 convenience store locations in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
