A popular pizza buffet recently announced that it has closed its Newnan location. Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet, located at 1067 Highway 34 East, released a statement on its Facebook page announcing the closure.

“Due to insurmountable circumstances, this Stevi B’s Pizza location will be closing for business with the final day of operation being 1-27-18,” the statement read. “It has been our sincere honor to serve this community along with its Churches, Schools & Civic organizations…Our sister store in Fayetteville will be happy to honor any coupons you may have.”

Roger Holtzclaw, owner of the location, said the decision to close the restaurant was very difficult.

“We’ve been doing this for 18 plus years, and we’ve enjoyed serving the community with our churches and community groups,” said Holtzclaw. “There are a lot of factors that came into play with this decision—without getting very specific.”

“It’s the hardest thing my wife and I have ever done, and we had some employees crying when we announced that we are closing. When one door closes, another door opens.”

Holtzclaw said the Fayetteville Stevi B’s location will remain open.
