A new antiques and collectables store opened this month in downtown Bowdon. Merchant Sixx, located at 101A Wedowee Street, offers furniture pieces, antiques, books, home decor, and more.
The store originally got its name after Katie and Jake Reeves rented a roll-up door unit at 48 West Trade Day in Wedowee, Alabama. The couple rented unit 6, and decided on the name Merchant Sixx for their new venture.
Katie says the store offers consignment on specialty items, antiques, collectibles, furniture items and more. Merchant Sixx is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
