About the Villa Rica Main Street Arts Coalition...
The Villa Rica Arts Coalition is busy planning our 2018 ArtFEST at The Mill Amphitheater in historical downtown Villa Rica. Our ArtFEST has attracted both new and accomplished artisans for the last nine years. We strive to raise our bar every year by showcasing the very best in each of their disciplines and we have an outstanding reputation in the West Georgia area.
The Villa Rica Arts Coalition was formed in the fall of 2015 by a small group of artists and art lovers with two specific goals in mind: to create a passion and appreciation for all the cultural arts throughout West Georgia and to be a bridge between the art community and individuals, businesses and local government by creating partnerships to promote and recognize the importance of the arts in everyday life.
Through successful partnering with the City of Villa Rica and especially the Main Street Program, we have been able to produce Villa Rica ArtFEST, sponsor art and photography workshops, encourage talented young artists from Villa Rica High School and make significant financial contributions to further art education and participation.
We are a 501C3, non-profit organization, completely dependent on fundraising, sponsorships, grants and contributions. Recognizing that quality public art draws more businesses, young families and creative people into a community and makes it a more welcoming place.
