The Carrollton plant of Trident Seafoods will host a job fair on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Carrollton Goodwill, located at 1301 S. Park St. The local plant intends to hire 50 new employees, adding to the nearly 200 crew members currently employed.
Open positions include seafood processors/machine operators, stand-up forklift operators, QA technicians, maintenance mechanics, and Distribution Center supervisor.

In July of 2015, Trident celebrated the opening of a new, state-of-the-art, value-adding facility in Carrollton, GA. Fulfilling the need to service major customers on the East Coast, the Carrollton plant will produce Trident’s full line of battered & breaded, marinated, and seasoned seafood items for national accounts, foodservice, and retail buyers. Highly automated and computer controlled, the plant features an 88,000 sq. ft. manufacturing floor, overlooked by a dedicated Research & Development facility. Immediately adjacent to the production facility is a 67,000 sq. ft. cold storage and distribution center with 15 climate-controlled truck bays.
