Burlington Stores, Inc., through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, donated $10,000 to Bright Star Elementary School in celebration of its new Douglasville store.
Douglasville Burlington Store Manager Monique Alexander presented the check to Bright Star Principal Heather Stewart during a surprise assembly Monday morning at the school.
A representative from AdoptAClassroom.org contacted school administrators and helped to secure the donation for Bright Star Elementary, which will provide $313 in new supplies for each teacher’s classroom.
