After a few delays that postponed their original opening date, Cabin Fever Roasters is officially open in their new location at 7475 Douglas Blvd.
“I’m so excited that it is open. It’s brand new, fresh, and clean,” said barista Jenny Hand. “I love my community and I really love making coffee.”
Although they have just reopened, Cabin Fever Roasters has some huge happenings in the works. One of the biggest changes coming soon to the new location is the relocation of their roastery from Canton to Douglasville.
“We’re hoping that’s going to work out for us,” explained co-owner Rick Aloisi. “If everything goes well, then the beautiful aroma of coffee will soon fill the place.”
After a little more than three years at their former location in downtown Douglasville, they made the decision to move in search of more parking and more space to expand.
In addition to offering coffee, tea, soups, and sandwiches, Cabin Fever Roasters also offers a variety of homemade baked goods such as breads, pastries, and bagels. Some of their bagel offerings include plain, onion, and jalapeño.
“I’ve been up baking since 2 a.m. this morning. Little by little, it’s coming together,” said Aloisi.
