A new southern, home-styled-cooking restaurant recently opened in Bremen in the shopping center at 1135 Pacific Avenue. Vittles Family Restaurant lives up to its name as being a genuinely southern dining destination.

“We serve down-home, country cooking just like your grandma made,” said Marie Patterson, prep cook manager. “We try to cook everything using original southern-inspired recipes for lunch and dinner.”

The restaurant is owned by Scott McQuire, who has owned and operated other local restaurants in the west Georgia area.

“Vittles is an idea that Scott has been wanting to open for a long time now, and when the space became available, he decided that it was the right time to open it,” said Marie.

Marie said the family-owned restaurant has been busy since opening last week.

“We have been packed out every day since we opened,” said Marie. “We hope to keep serving happy customers for a long time.”

Vittles is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“We want to invite everyone to come out and enjoy our food, and bring their family,” said Marie. “We want everyone to know that we are a family-friendly restaurant that only serves delicious, homestyle meals made from scratch.”
