RaceTrac’s newest prototype store opened today in Lithia Springs, at the corner of Blairs Bridge and Thornton Rd. With the opening, the family-owned gas station empire’s presence in Douglas County continues to grow as they currently have three locations in the area.
Their location at the corner of Fairburn Rd. and Cherokee Blvd in Douglasville is set to open soon.
Featuring dedicated fueling stations for automobiles and commercial trucks, the store also features a coffee area, an expanded “Made-to-Order” menu, and Swirl World— a self-serve frozen dessert station with up to 10 flavors and over 40 toppings.
“These new stores will have a more shoppable layout to deliver a better guest experience,” explained RaceTrac Communications Manager Liz McIntyre.
Professional drivers will be able to take advantage of a variety of unique services, including ATM/Money orders, a certified truck scale, copy/fax machine access, and accepted payment options such as Comdata, EFS, T-Check, TCH, and Fleet1.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, RaceTrac has been serving guests since 1934 and now operates more than 450 convenience store locations in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. Named a top workplace across the four states in which it operates, it was recognized on Forbes list of largest private companies every year since 1998.
