Windmill Park will be a senior-oriented living community located on Cottage Hill Road behind Carrollton Crossroads shopping center. The community will have cottage-style townhomes that will be located in close proximity to the numerous dining and shopping destinations along Highway 27 in Carrollton.

According to documents from Traton Homes, the community will feature maintained lawns, walkability, and exceptional amenities with a comfortable, small-town feel. Residents will also enjoy a number of opportunities for recreational activities and social gatherings.

Windmill Park is built on property that has remained as an iconic feature in Carrollton history. The farm was owned by the Brown family, who erected a windmill on the property after it was purchased in the 1920’s. The windmill served as a landmark for Carrollton residents for many years until it was moved to accommodate construction of Highway 27.
