Groundbreaking for Segment Three of The Thread Planned for Monday, May 21st

LaGrange, Ga. May 15, 2018 – The groundbreaking ceremony for the third segment of The Thread is planned for Monday, May 21st. It will be located in the LaGrange College parking lot on Panther Way.

The third segment of The Thread will connect the “Model Mile” segment by Granger Park to LaGrange College.

This latest segment of the multi-use trail will be .9 mile and extend from West Haralson, North Greenwood Street, Broad Street, Panther Way to Vernon Street.

WHERE: LaGrange College parking lot on Panther Way, 110 Panther Way

More on The Thread: The Thread is an environmentally sensitive, non-motorized, multipurpose trail designed to increase the health and wellness of the community through providing a safe environment in LaGrange, Georgia for fitness, recreation, transportation and special events. Currently, The Thread has a total 29 miles of trails planned in the next nine years.
