A major rental car company is planning to build a new location at 12 Herring Road in Newnan. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is expected to begin construction this summer on a new truck-rental facility at the location.
Plans obtained by The City Menus show the construction of a one-story, 5,224-square-foot building and large parking lot.
The new space will be Newnan’s second Enterprise Rent-A-Car location as the company has a car rental location at 70-b Bullsboro Drive. The nearest truck rental location to the planned space is located in Forest Park.
Based in Clayton, Missouri, Enterprise has more than 9,000 locations throughout the United States.
Construction on the project is expected to begin August 13. The company has not specified when the project will be completed.
