Shine N Drive Car Wash in Newnan will soon undergo extensive renovations and will reopen as a new Tidal Wave Auto Spa location. Located at 530 Highway 34 East, Shine N Drive has long been a popular destination for members of the Newnan community, thanks to its great reputation for quality and customer service.
“We’re really excited to be making some major renovations to our location and also to partner up with a company like Tidal Wave,” said Bill Back, owner.
Back purchased Shine N Drive Car Wash six years ago and has since lead the business to become a popular destination for people in Newnan.
“We’re putting in an entirely new machine system and extending our existing tunnel by an additional twenty feet,” said Back. “We will also be updating all of the chemistry and doing some site work to increase our traffic flow.”
Back said the business will remain a flex-serve car wash in which customers will have the option to use the self-serve car wash or have professionals handle cleaning and making their vehicle shine. Back also said he plans to upgrade and add more vacuums to the location.
“We will be adding a whole new bank of vacuums as well as additional vacuums with the desire to increase productivity, and at the same time keep delivering the same great quality of customer service,” said Back. “We have a great team of men and women who have been with us for a long time, and we are all looking forward to reopening as Tidal Wave Auto Spa.”
Tidal Wave Auto Spa has more than a dozen locations across the southeast and is expected to add more new locations in the near future.
Back said the renovation project began last week and is expected to possibly be finished in early August.
