Newnan will soon have a new hotel in the Ashley Park area on Newnan Crossing Bypass. InterContinental Hotels Group is working to build a new Candlewood Suites hotel at 700 Newnan Crossing Bypass.
“The hotel is under construction now, and we will be working on it over the course of the next year,” said Harry Patel, owner.
Patel says the hotel will be a four-story building that will feature 81 individual suites. He said 45 of the rooms will feature two beds and the remaining 36 rooms will feature king-sized beds.
“We are hoping to have construction done by August of 2019, and we will open the hotel very soon after that,” said Patel.
Patel owns a hotel in Atlanta’s Camp Creek community and hopes to experience similar success with Candlewood Suites in Newnan.
“We are very happy to be opening this hotel in Newnan and being able to provide jobs and quality hotel service for this community,” said Patel.
