A popular plus-sized consignment store will be officially closing its doors at the end of August. A Plus Size Consignment owner Bretha Bryan says she will be hosting a closing sale beginning next week.
“I’m going to have everything in the store on sale for one dollar per item—except for the formal wear,” said Bryan. “That’s a pretty good deal. You usually can’t even buy material for that low.”
A Plus Size Consignment is located at 909 South Park Street in the Trojan Shopping Center. The store, which opened in 2011, sells only plus-sized ladies clothing and accessories. Bryan still has a store full of clothing and many other items that she hopes to sell before finally closing at the end of August.
“I have really enjoyed having this store, and what I’ve enjoyed most is all of the friends I’ve made over the years,” said Bryan. “I don’t call anyone here a customer. I call them my friends.”
Bryan says she will also be selling clothing racks and just about every other item in the store. She invites everyone to stop by and take advantage of the terrific deals going on until the end of the month.
