Legendary country group returns to venue on September 20

Mill Town Music Hall is pleased to announce that Grammy-Award winning Diamond Rio will perform again on Thursday, September 20 at 7:30 pm ET. Diamond Rio will sing songs from their newest album, I Made It, along with top hits “Meet in the Middle” and “One More Day.” Opening the concert will be singer and songwriter from Nashville, Ray Scott. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).

Founded in 1982, Diamond Rio began as a bluegrass music band at a Nashville theme park. The band is best known for their eclectic hybrid of modern country, traditional bluegrass and a hint of rock & roll. Their self-titled album became a platinum-selling smash hit. The lead single, “Meet in the Middle,” topped the charts, making them the first country group to have a debut single hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In 2011, they received their first Grammy for Best Southern Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album.  The band released a concert album in 2014, and in 2015 released I Made It, their first studio album in six years. Diamond Rio has recorded nine studio albums, four Greatest Hits compilations, and a Christmas album. They have also received four CMA Group of the Year awards and two Top Vocal Group awards from the Academy of Country Music.
