The Haralson County Historical Society is gearing up to host its third-annual Fried Pie Festival on September 15. The event will take place in Downtown Buchanan Square beginning at 9 a.m.
The event will feature live musical acts and plenty of food for everyone.
The music stage is sponsored by Pioneer Ford and will feature musical artist Alex Guthrie who will take the stage at 11 a.m. The event will also feature American Idol contestant Andrew Weaver. American Warrior Garage will be also hosting the Fried Pie Festival’s car show.
“We are having a Veterans, Vines and History Tour this year that visits our veterans parks, wineries and historical site,” Caron Connelly, Festival Chairman. “We are even having a pageant this year!”
The Fried Pie Festival is a county-wide event that features fried pies of all sizes and flavors, as well as cookoff competitions. Visitors can also check out the many arts and crafts and other vendors at the event, as well as a petting zoo.
