Many young couples often search for the perfect wedding venue only to find that it is far too expensive and unreasonably priced. Newlyweds sometimes sacrifice their future finances in order to assemble the wedding of their dreams, but Bobby Bollen says couples should not have to overpay for their special day.
“You shouldn’t have to spend an arm and a leg on your wedding,” says Bobby. “You shouldn’t have to sacrifice just to be able to enjoy it. We offer packages to people that will allow them to have a beautiful wedding with everything they need without having to stress about overpaying.”
Bobby and his wife, Loraina, are owners of A Little Piece of Heaven Venues, located at 2253 Lovvorn Road, just outside of Carrollton. The venue is full of rustic beauty and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Carrollton’s growing community.
“We just opened last year and we celebrated our one-year anniversary in August,” says Bobby. “We really take pride in helping people create their perfect wedding. People are so much happier and can enjoy their wedding much more when they’re not having to make big financial sacrifices to put the wedding together.”
Nestled among farmlands in rural Carroll County, A Little Piece of Heaven will surprise many guests with its quiet and secluded setting. The property features a 4-acre pond that also has a water fountain, as well as a large dock all of which which Bobby says are perfect for getting those memorable photos on your wedding day.
“We have a really nice pavilion and a bridal suite cabin that’s located next to the lake,” says Bobby. “People really love the laid-back, country feel the place has. Everyone we’ve ever hosted a wedding for has loved it.”
A Little Piece of Heaven’s Facebook page is a testament to the highly-rated guest experience. The page has 20 different reviews, all of which are 5-star ratings.
“This venue was perfect for us,” writes Lora Voyles Bailey in her review. “I love the laid back feel and the owners are great to work with. Plenty of room here to bring corn hole boards or other yard games and the venue provides horseshoes also. The cabin is very unique and is perfect for buffet style dining. It doesn’t take much decoration from the renter, as the cabin itself is full of vintage finds! Very lovely venue, we hope to be back for future events!”
Bobby says the venue’s DIY Package is the most popular option among guests. The DIY Package includes all property use, tents, tables, chairs, decorations, bridal suite cabin, and more for only $550 for up to 50 guests. Each additional guest is an extra $5 per person.
“Our DIY Package is for a full weekend from Friday at 12:00 p.m. to Sunday at 12:00 p.m. which gives you time to set up and take everything down without being in a hurry and stressing about anything,” says Bobby. “We have an open-air dance floor than can also serve as a stage for bands or DJ’s.”
A Little Piece of Heaven also offers All-Inclusive Packages that are priced at $3,000. Pricing can vary, depending on which amenities guests want included in the package.
“With our All Inclusive Package, we offer everything you’ll need for your wedding, so you don’t have to worry about anything,” says Bobby. “We take care of the DJ and everything else so you can forget about stressing over anything and enjoy your wedding.”
Bobby says his venue also offers custom wedding packages that are priced based on what guests want included in their packages.
“We really want to work hard and provide everything you need for your wedding so that you really can have a special day that you’ll remember forever,” says Bobby. “A lot of other venues out there offer similar concepts, but they are priced much higher and they don’t offer the laid-back atmosphere that we have.”
Bobby says he only has three rules for use of his venue, no glitter or confetti, no glass bottles, and no cigarette butts. Other than those rules, Bobby says guests are welcomed to make themselves at home.
