Officials from Newnan’s Ashley Park shopping center recently announced a new expansion that is currently in the planning stages. The new building outparcel will be constructed in the parking lot section next to Regal Cinemas Georgia 14.

According to plans obtained by The City Menus, the new expansion will likely have three separate units with one unit featuring a drive-thru window.

“As far as a timeline goes, we are looking to start construction at the end of 2018 and anticipate tenants opening fall 2019,” said Mark Curran, General Manager of Ashley Park.

Ashley Park is currently in negotiations with possible tenants for the spaces inside the new units. According to officials from Newnan’s Planning and Zoning Department, all three of the units in the new expansion are proposed to be restaurants that will feature outdoor seating patios.

“We are currently in negotiations with exciting first-to-market restaurants,” said Curran. “They are still in the design phase and working on the rendering. Once it’s approved by the City of Newnan, we will have the full details of what it will look like.”
