Troup County has officially launched their annual Marine Corps Toys for Tots toy drive. The toy drive will benefit children of Troup County and will be donated to The Empty Stocking Fund of LaGrange and Hogansville, as well as the local Salvation Army.
The County is warmly welcoming new, unwrapped toy donations from the public. The program generally provides toys and books for children up to age 12. There is currently a donation site located on the first floor of the Troup County Government Center across from the elevators at 100 Ridley Avenue, LaGrange, GA 30240.
Marine Corps Toys for Tots was founded from the directive of the Marine Corps in 1991. The goal of their public charity is to help provide hope through the gift of Christmas to the less fortunate children of America.
Troup County’s toy drive for Toys for Tots will continue until next week and donations will be accepted until 12:00 PM on December 7, 2018.
