Jersey Mike’s is a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 1,500 locations open and underway across the country. It is known for offering a Sub Above, serving authentic sandwiches based on their 1956 original recipe that was first introduced in the seaside town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
Each sub is fresh sliced and fresh grilled with your choice of fresh vegetables, premium meats and cheese sliced on the spot and piled high on delectable bread that is baked in the restaurants throughout the day. Jersey Mike’s representative tells us that the new location will open at 9478 Highway 5, Douglasville, Georgia, in the Arbor Square shopping center. The store is scheduled to open in March of 2019 with 1,500 square feet of space and is expected to hire 15 to 20 employees who are committed to serving a standard of excellence.
Franchise owner Michelle Echols comes to Jersey Mike’s after many years working as an area director for other chains, including McDonald’s where she trained and developed team members.
