The City of Carrollton is excited to host a New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown Adamson Square.
The New Year’s Eve Downtown Countdown with the Carrollton Jazz Orchestra kicks off at 9:00 p.m. with performances of classic big band swing, Latin and rock favorites.
“We are very excited to begin what we hope will become a New Year’s Eve tradition in Carrollton,” said Carrollton Jazz Orchestra’s Terry Lowry. “It will be a great night of jazz music, dancing and amazing fireworks as we celebrate the beginning of a new year and all the possibilities that come with it.”
Enjoy music and dancing as the countdown to midnight finales with a dazzling fireworks display over downtown Carrollton.
“We are thrilled to host an event where our community can ring in the new years right here in Carrollton,” said City Manager Tim Grizzard. “With music, dancing and fireworks, it is the first of many spectacular New Year’s events to come.” This event is sponsored by Cheers Fine Wine and Spirits and the Carrollton Jazz Orchestra.
The event is free and open to the public.
Event parking and street closures:
Adamson Square will be closed to thru traffic at 5:00 pm. Quad four (Loco Mex) will be closed at 2:00 p.m. for event set-up. Other needed closures will be announced day-of.
