The Subway located at 14 Commerce Place, across from the Pilot Travel center, in Tallapoosa will re-open its doors on Wednesday, December 19th after a temporary closure.

The Commerce location serves customers from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m until 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Patrons of Subway were encouraged to visit Tallapoosa’s other location at 1929 U.S. Highway 78 near downtown which remained open during the Commerce location’s closure.

On December 4th Subway had shared a press release regarding their new mint chocolate chip cookie that was added to its menu and will be available at both Tallapoosa locations. The cookie is made of rich chocolate dough and mint chips, loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chips and a touch of natural peppermint extract.

“Our guests crave our cookies just as much as our sandwiches,” said Andy Dismore, Director of Menu Management and Innovation at Subway. “We’re sure our guests are going to love the latest cookie flavor to come out of our kitchen.”

In addition, customers can give friends and loved ones something sweet this holiday season by gifting a cookie with a Subway eGift card now through December 31, 2018. Cookie eGift cards are available for purchase online at Subway.com/sendcookies.
