Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado. The tour will soon visit Carrollton at the Carrollton Center for the Arts on Jan. 5, 2019 with 11 films that will explore the themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
A Mountainfilm presenter will guide the audience through the program providing insight on the films, filmmakers and subjects.
The show kicks off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are free, but you must secure a ticket. Tickets are available online at www.carrolltonarts.org or at the center’s box office: 251 Alabama Street, Carrollton, GA. See the complete playlist at www.mountainfilm.org/tour/schedule. Mountainfilm on Tour in Carrollton is sponsored by the Alice Huffard Richards Foundation.
Mountainfilm began in 1979 and is one of America’s longest-running film festivals. The festival is best described by one word: inspiring.
