The Rapha Clinic, a local non-profit, faith-based charity, serves uninsured people with their medical and dental needs in the West Georgia Community. On March 22, 2019 at 6:30pm the organization will host their major fundraiser of the year, the 5th Annual Sound of Medicine concert at City Station in Carrollton, Georgia. The event, held from 6:30-9:30pm features performances from many local physicians and other healthcare providers, as well as their talented family members.
The Sound of Medicine event, created by Chairman of the Board and Medical Director, Dr. Amy Eubanks, is an opportunity to enjoy an evening of wonderful and inspiring music, as well as raise much needed funds that allow Rapha Clinic to support a mission that embodies the love of Christ. Since opening in 2010, Rapha Clinic has been providing free medical and dental care to adults who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level and who are uninsured.
“If you have ever been without insurance, you know the anguish that experience can create; now, imagine that experience when you are ill or suffer from a chronic disease. Rapha Clinic of West Georgia is a faith-based, non-profit, charitable ministry that provides high-quality medical and dental care to the uninsured,” said Joseph Cox, Executive Director of Rapha Clinic of West Georgia. “The Sound of Medicine event, created by our talented board member Dr. Amy Eubanks, is an opportunity to enjoy an evening of wonderful and inspiring music, as well as raise much needed funds that allow all of us to support a mission that embodies the heart of Christ-loving our neighbors.”
The evening fundraiser will also include coffee, appetizers, and dessert and silent auction all to benefit the work of the clinic. Full table reservations may be made in advance for ten people at $250. Individual tickets are $30. Event sponsorships are also available ranging from $150 to $5,000 and include a variety of benefits. To purchase tickets or for more information, please call 770-562-4501 or visit www.raphaclinic.org. In addition, the organization is launching a year-long sponsorship program celebrating sponsors during all five of the annual fundraising events.
The Rapha Clinic would, again, like to show appreciation to all of the 2018 sponsors, as these sponsors helped to build a new medical and dental clinic. The top sponsor positions were held by Tanner Health System and Greenway Medical Technologies. In addition, Aubrey Silvey Enterprises, Tisinger Vance and Primary Care of Bremen/Rhythm Communications generously sponsored the event. Several churches in the area joined in as ‘Hands and Feet’ sponsors, including First Baptist Church of Bremen, Roopville Road Baptist Church, Carrollton Baptist Association and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
