The flavors from Chef Fu’s home of Fujian, China have arrived in Carrollton at his new express restaurant, Chopstick Brothers. He tells us, “I wanted to bring a different and unique approach to Chinese food in Carrollton where customers can swing by for fast and fresh prepared food. As a chef in my hometown I initially learned from cooking school and once I graduated I came to the United States.”

Chopstick Brothers combines oriental flavors with American food. The new restaurant offers a different concept than what is currently offered in Carrollton. With the counter bar customers can simply stop in, choose their plate size, and select from the already prepared entrees and sides. Fu tells us, “It is quality food, reasonably priced, and fast. Being directly next to the university, the students want reasonably priced food and have limited options on the west side of town at this time.”

Chopstick Brothers’ counter bar service is comparable to Panda Express, which is one of the most popular, fast-food, Chinese restaurants in the United States. At Chopstick Brothers, the Chef invites you to try a sample of something before you buy it. He says, “I would like for the customer to taste the flavors of our dishes.”

When asked about his favorite dish on the menu, the chef says excitedly, “Mongolian Beef!” All the dishes are inspired by international flavors and do not include any monosodium glutamate (MSG). Also, the restaurant uses 100% vegetable oil, and the menu boasts low cholesterol options. Some of the popular dishes Chef Fu talks about include sesame chicken, orange chicken, pepper steak, and teriyaki chicken bowl. He also hints that bourbon chicken is coming soon. Customers can add several side options to the orders such as, steamed rice, fried rice, and chow mein noodles.

Chopstick Brothers offers party trays for all occasions. Please give them at least 24-hours’ notice before ordering. Their Happy Family Meal starts at $33.99 which includes three large entrees and two large fried rice or lo-mein noodles. Shrimp is available for $3.75 extra.

The new restaurant is conveniently located near The University of West Georgia at 120 Cunningham Drive, Suite G, Carrollton, Georgia. À la carte and party tray orders can be made by calling (678) 664-0833. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
