Newnan Celebrates 4th of July With Annual Parade

Join us in downtown Newnan to celebrate Independence Day during the 4th of July Parade on Thursday, July 4th 2019.  The Parade will begin at Veteran’s Memorial Park (Temple Avenue Park) at 9:00 am, and will end at Greenville Street Park. Local vendors and farmer’s will be set up on South Court Square for the parade.

Main Street Newnan welcomes all interested participants to register on www.mainstreetnewnan.com Registration is only necessary for participants that intend to use a motorized vehicle, and participation is cost free.  Walking groups are not required to register but it is highly recommended in order to receive informational updates. Walkers should report to the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Temple Ave. Floats will be staged at a different location and must be registered by June 26th to participate.

Free public parking is available along downtown streets, and in the City of Newnan’s Public Parking Lots located at: 13 Lagrange Street, 25 Lagrange Street, 22 Spring Street, 6 First Avenue, 50 East Broad Street, 65 East Broad Street, 41 East Washington Street, and 22 East Broad Street.
