Film Work Prompts Lane Closure on Georgia 70/Roscoe Road Next Tuesday

Law enforcement officers will close the northbound lane of Georgia 70/Roscoe Road from Jim Starr Road to just south of Redwine Road in Coweta County on Tuesday, Jul. 2, 2019 from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to accommodate a film shoot in that area.

A flagging operation will be at the site to direct motorists safely through the area on the one remaining open lane. Drivers are urged to be alert when approaching the location and to watch for the direction of the flaggers or law enforcement officers. Drivers should be patient and ready for any sudden happenings while waiting or driving through the work zone. For alternate routes, call Georgia 511 or check the free Georgia 511 app.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through the area. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the free Georgia 511 app.
