Home goods and craft store, Pin It Co. recently opened a new cafe inside their store located at 140 City Hall Avenue, Bowdon, Georgia. The cafe boasts a warm, welcoming atmosphere and serves a variety of salads, sandwiches, soups, sides, and sips.
The most popular menu item is the Pin It Co. Club paired with the House Tomato Basil soup. Be sure to try Mrs. Bonnie Farmer’s lemon pound cake. Restaurant and store owner, Ally Turpen says, “The lemon pound cake was originally for the grand opening and now it is a regular menu favorite.”
Ally continued, “My husband Shane and I started the idea of opening a cafe without any prior restaurant experience. We based our menu on the items that are unique to the town of Bowdon.”
Shane previously served in the military for four years before returning home to be a part of his wife’s entrepreneurial adventures. He now prepares food based on their entire team’s input in Pin It Co.’s kitchen. Shane says, “Most importantly many of our menu items are locally sourced and selected. Every meal is crafted with our customers in mind.”
