The Carrollton Center for the Arts’ second annual Fall Program Fair on August 3 offers the community a chance to meet its instructional staff and members of affiliated arts organizations.
“Everyone is invited to get to know our instructors and we can answer questions about engaging in our fall activities,” said Arts Superintendent Tim Chapman.
The Program Fair will be held in the lobby of the Center for the Arts from 4-7:00 p.m. In addition to getting acquainted with the center’s staff and programming, attendees can register for fall semester arts activities while at the event.
The center’s schedule includes a broad range of programming for all ages across the spectrum of arts disciplines, including visual arts, theatre, chorus and dance, from ballet and ballroom, to clogging, salsa and swing. The center also hosts workshops on topics like baking, jewelry making and glass cutting and provides music instruction on a variety of instruments.
Representatives of community arts organizations affiliated with the Center for the Arts, like the Carrollton Artist Guild, Carrollton Writers Guild, Carroll County Community Theatre, Carroll Community Chorus, Carroll Symphony Orchestra, Carrollton Jazz Orchestra and Community Wind Ensemble will also be at the Program Fair.
