Chef and nutritionist Earnest Broome has big plans in a small town for a restaurant that focuses on veterans, service members, and first-responders. He finds his hard work and deep culinary passion to be the inspiration for opening a restaurant serving primarily farm fresh foods.

Wholfo Soufo’s grand-opening will be hosted August 2 beginning at 6:00 o’clock in the morning. “We are simply whole food and soul food,” says Earnest. The restaurant will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. seven days a week. Every meal will be freshly prepared in a cooked-to-order fashion.

Earnest asks customers to bring photographs of their family members or friends who have served or are currently serving our country, along with first-responders. He plans to post photo(s) along the wall in the restaurant in their honor.

Earnest notes, “I have lived in Bowdon before and I am close friends with George Bryan, a well-known active service member from Bowdon. I have also served our country.” He now finds his home in Heard County, Georgia, following four years of military service.
