Longtime Newnan resident, decorator, and business owner, Beth Murty, along with assistant decorator Amy Charboneau, saw a need in the community for a place to purchase affordable items for the home with a unique flair. In response, the two ladies opened Simply Unique Finds Design House and Market, which houses the office for their decorating and staging business and also offers a showroom full of affordable “finds” to decorate living spaces.
Beth says, “We offer a unique selection of affordable furniture and home décor along with decorating and staging services. Simply Unique Finds is also a place where people can get ideas and advice for decorating their home because of the creative staging and displays of our goods, also.”
Beth and Amy met several years ago while working together at a local church. Not long afterward, the pair opened their first showroom in downtown Newnan. They soon realized their passion and the need in the community were affordable decorating services. With their combined years of experience in decorating and staging, paired with Beth’s knowledge of construction, the two are a perfect complement for their growing business.
Beth explains, “Our desire is to incorporate an artistic, creative element in all our designs, whether it’s creating a feature wall or transforming a family treasure into a usable addition to the design.”
Once inside the market, customers will find the latest releases from the Merchandise Mart, local artisans and estate finds. For those looking to redecorate their homes, Simply Unique Finds offers full service decorating and staging services including floor plan redesign, construction services, and furniture refurbishing. Customers can also order furniture, rugs, and a wide range of home accessories.
Amy says, “We want to bring joy to people with their décor and help make their dream home a reality.” Beth seconds that comment, “Our greatest reward comes when we have the ‘homeowner reveal’ once the project is complete. The joy and excitement on the homeowner’s face makes it all worthwhile!”
On Saturday, September 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the store will open during the Market Square Place grand opening. Look for Simply Unique Finds’ tent sale, where multiple drawings for gift cards will happen throughout the day.
The store is located at 21 Market Square Way in Newnan, Georgia, “just down the way” from Wings and Things in the Summergrove Marketplace.
