Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative was recently named a 2019 Best Places to Work in Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The honor follows the cooperative’s fifth year as a finalist in the Best Places to Work program and celebrates its ranking as 17 in the large business category for 2019.

Carroll EMC employees participated in an anonymous, third-party survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, a research firm that administers workplace culture assessments on behalf of the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The survey measures employee satisfaction with their employers and engagement within the company.

Quantum Workplace has been scoring Best Places to Work for 15 years and has administered more than 7 million surveys to 100,000+ organizations. The program in Atlanta is one of 48 contests across the country. For 2019, 103 companies qualified for a Best Places to Work nomination including 48 small companies, 25 medium companies, 25 large companies, and 5 extra-large companies.
