Sammy Kershaw, who has had more than 25 singles on the Top 40 Billboard Hot Country Songs, returns to the Mill Town Music Hall stage on Thursday, October 10th at 7:30 pm ET. Kershaw likes to record songs that he has personally lived. This philosophy has served him well earning him three RIAA platinum and two gold-certified albums. New Orleans-native, Jacye Guerin, will be the opening act. Mill Town Music Hall, focusing on family-friendly music and events, is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
At the age of 12, Sammy Kershaw was playing guitar in a variety of bars and roadhouses. In the early 90’s his debut album Don’t Go Near the Water produced four hit singles including “Cadillac Style” and “Yard Sale.” He hit number one with the hit song “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” which was included on his second album “Haunted Heart.” The success of these albums kicked off a series of hit albums and hit singles that are still played worldwide today. Kershaw was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Louisiana Songwriters Association Hall of Fame in 2010.
