Since 2006 America’s Best Value Inn and Suites located at 1111 Bankhead Highway, Carrollton, Georgia has housed visitors of the community from near and far. Just recently the hotel was purchased and rebranded as a Red Roof Inn and Suites franchise.
Continuing a path in hospitality paired with food service, Ken Desai along with his brother Don Desai will oversee the hotel’s transition. The brothers tell us that major renovations beginning at the property will include a new look for the exterior of the building, new landscaping, fully-renovated rooms, and an updated lobby.
Through a tiered approach, the entire hotel will be painted. Every guest room’s carpeting will be replaced with vinyl plank flooring and receive a new bedding package with convenience outlets and USB ports. Each room will also have a new flat-screen television, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator furnished. The updated lobby will feature a stone wall and a self-serve coffee station.
Guests can enjoy an indoor, heated pool that is available for use year-round. Plus, a business center with computer and printer, a meeting room that can host 35 occupants, fitness center, on-site laundry facility, and eco-friendly OSHA approved cleaning products.
Ken tells us, “Every choice that is made is made through the eyes of the guests. Everything is considered, such as what is most convenient and enjoyable. We want to deliver the ‘wow’ factor with every experience. We look forward to serving the community of Carrollton along with friends, family members, and tourists.”
