Film Work Prompts Traffic Control Measures at 155 Greenville Street South (GA 14/US 27 ALT) in Newnan Next Week

Film crews working in Newnan will be doing prep work and then shooting scenes at 155 Greenville Street South (US 27 ALT/Georgia 14) from Monday, Sept. 30 to Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019. For the safety of the production crew as well as area motorists, traffic control measures will be installed on a stretch of Greenville Street/US 27 ALT/Georgia 14 extending from Spence Avenue to Nimmons Street.

When necessary, law enforcement officers will install full closures of all lanes at the site. The closures may happen at any time of day or night. The full closures will not be continuous, and when the workers are not actively shooting scenes traffic will be allowed to proceed with caution.

Signage will be placed in advance of the film’s work zone, and local area motorists are urged to moderate their speeds and to be alert when approaching the location, and also to follow the direction of the law enforcement officers. Drivers of large trucks passing through the region will be directed to utilize the Newnan Bypass as a detour route.
