Join the city of Newnan on Saturday, October 26, 2019 for the Tucked Away Music Festival from 2pm-7pm. Event attendees will have the unique opportunity to visit stages placed in public parking lots and alleyways throughout the district. We encourage everyone to shop and dine local during the event! Vendors will fill Perry Street along with live football hosted by AT&T. Musical talent will be very diverse, where each stage will represent a different genre. The current list of performers is listed below.
Featured Bands of the Music Festival Include:
3rd Shift– a four-piece cover band from south metro Atlanta, a few of the members have been playing together over 15 years. We play 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, current rock and pop hits along with some forgotten B-side gems.
Frankie’s Blues Mission– As the name implies, these gentlemen are on a mission: Their purpose is to present the blues, jazz, R&B and zydeco in the best of the African-American tradition with all the energy they can muster.
Line Creek Bluegrass– Line Creek was born several years ago after years of playing rock, folk, and gospel music. Our musical tastes had matured to the point that bluegrass was the natural culmination of years of experience. The resulting music is a blend of bluegrass and folk in which you will hear rich vocal harmonies and tasty instrumentation; bluegrass gospel as well as classics, “grassified” rock tunes as well as fresh originals. It’s a front porch pickin experience.
Matt Moskal– Performs songs from a wide variety of genres with a set list as diverse as the audience.
Stella Weaver– a young singer/songwriter/guitarist/actor. Stella plays a variety of music including music from the 70s, 80s, current hits, original songs, and Christian songs.
