Guardrail Repair to Close I-20 Lanes Thursday Overnight

Portions of the right lanes of I-20 in Carroll County will be closed in both directions Thursday night while crews repair the guardrail along the shoulders. The repairs will begin around 9 p.m. should be completed by 3 a.m.

The westbound right lane will be closed at milepost 16.8, and the work should take about an hour to complete. On the eastbound side, workers will be making repairs at three different mileposts: 12.5, 15.8, and 16.6. The eastbound right lane will be closed from milepost 11.5 until milepost 18.5 during the repairs.

Motorists can expect delays while the roadwork is underway. The project should be completed early Friday morning, as long as the weather cooperates.
