A holiday market, car show, singers and dancers will join Santa Claus for Carrollton Main Street’s Lighting of the Square, November 30, as downtown switches on the Christmas season.
“This is going to be an event for the whole family you don’t want to miss,” said Shannon Grogan, Carrollton’s Main Street coordinator. “We are thrilled to have entertainment, a car show and plenty of photo opportunities for this year’s Christmas card.”
In addition to the actual lighting of the decorative lights downtown, there will be activities across the square, from 5-9:00 p.m., including a Golden City Cruisers car show, pictures with Santa (bring a camera or smart phone), letters to Santa mailbox (which will stay up through Christmas) and a photo area.
Holiday market vendors include: Homegrown Southern Apparel, Laurel Rose Co., A Nurse’s Way, Twin Creeks Woodworks, The Wooden Anchor, Maddie Grace Art, Art and Soul, Square Records, Art by Kaitlyn, Candles by Jazzy, Carroll County Mental Health Advocates and Little Vine Vineyards.
Carrollton Academy of Dance, Carroll County Community Chorus and Tara Twirls will perform for the event.
