KRG Roofing company based in Temple, Georgia, made a donation of $5,000.00 to the Temple Police Department for its annual Shop with a Cop program.

Temple police chief Creig Lee tells us, “This is the largest single donation that we’ve received since I began as chief in 2015, and we are on target for our biggest year yet.”

According to Chief Lee the police department will collect more than $12,000.00 this year which will support more than 100 children in Temple. He tells us, “We are overwhelmed by the support of our community partners. KRG’s continued generosity and commitment to our community is greatly appreciated. As the town’s chief I am also thankful the hard-working staff within office and task force for their assistance.”

This year’s Shop with a Cop event will be held December 19 at Villa Rica Walmart. Applicants for the Shop with a Cop program are handled by the local schools, and the program is for ages 3 to 18.
