A rezoning application was submitted to the city of Newnan by the Adveco Corporation to seek approval for constructing an indoor, climate-controlled facility near Ashley Park. The proposed facility would be located on 2.65 acres alongside Ashley Park Boulevard and adjacent to the Towne Place Suites.
According to documents filed with the city, Adevco Corporation requests the property be rezoned from CCS (Community Shopping Center District) to CHV (Heavy Commercial District). The applicant states that the land has been underdeveloped for years and there is a need for indoor, climate-controlled units in the city of Newnan.
A public hearing is scheduled for January 14, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at Newnan City Hall, 25 LaGrange Street.
