Clay Walker will take the stage at Mill Town Music Hall on Saturday, Feb. 15th at 7:30 pm EST. Walker has had four platinum-selling albums and two gold albums. Nashville singer/songwriter Jenna Paulette will be the opening act. Mill Town Music Hall, focusing on family-friendly music and events, is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
Clay Walker first topped the Billboard country charts in 1993 with back-to-back number one hits, “What’s It to You?” and “Live Until I Die.” Since his initial success, Walker has placed 29 other songs on Billboard’s singles chart including “Dreaming with my Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make Living,” “This Woman and This Man,” “Then What?,” and “Rumor Has It.”
In 1996, Walker was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis; however, he was determined not to let that diagnoses stop him. “If you’d asked me when I was diagnosed that first day if I would still be alive, I would have said ‘no’ because that’s what the doctor’s said,” says Walker. “Here I am, and actually I’m probably healthier than I was [when I was diagnosed].” To help fight the disease, Walker started Band Against MS (BAMS) and has raised over $2,000,000 in support of the cause.
