Competitive Gaming Esports League To Open in Downtown Newnan

With an exciting future in competitive gaming on the horizon, Newnan Esports will open their 31 East Broad Street location in downtown Newnan on Friday, February 7. Locally-owned and family-operated, The Esports league is a gaming station for individuals, groups, and tournaments.

Owner Hayden Marlowe happily shares, “I’m a lifelong gamer myself, so I’ve always been interested in the industry. The idea of recreational Esports popped into my head a couple of years ago.” 

Hayden also mentioned that several businesses like his exist on the north side of Atlanta, but there were none on the south side. He says, “Gamers that share the same love can join the thrilling experience from professional leagues to recreational leagues at Newnan Esports.” Some of the game and league options include, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Apex Legends, Street Fighter, Fortnite, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, and more. 

Games are all played on PCs, however Newnan Esports will provide PS4 and Xbox One controllers to players who might not be familiar with using a mouse and keyboard. To view a full schedule of games available and pricing, those interested can click here.
