Bowdon natives and business partners Wanda Wessinger and Marlo Robinson together with Kenneth Wessinger opened The Painted Frog early January in downtown Bowdon. The ladies, Wanda and Marlo, bring more than 20 years of experience repurposing and painting furniture.

The Painted Frog sells furniture and antiques, unique home decor, decorative hardware, florals and wreaths. The store is also a Premier retailer of Dixie Belle chalk mineral paint and offers the largest selection of Dixie Belle paint in Carroll County and surrounding areas.

“If you have an idea, come see us and we’ll help pick the perfect paint and show you different techniques for different looks,” said Marlo.

Wanda tells us, “We are happy to be a part of the Bowdon community. Come out and see us; there are several home decor and antique stores in town and some great lunch spots.”

The staff hosts paint classes, so visit their Facebook page to learn more or call (678) 257-5227.

The Painted Frog is located at 116 City Hall Avenue, Bowdon, Georgia–in the former Bowdon Bulletin building.
