Douglasville Sam’s Club To Undergo Renovations

A fresh look and some new shopping experiences are coming to the Douglasville Sam’s Club. According to construction plans, the biggest changes the retailer will see are the additions of produce and dairy “shop-in” coolers. These are essentially large coolers that customers have access to in order to shop in bulk for fresh products that need to remain under refrigeration.

Amongst some of the other updates expected are new refrigeration units for various areas of the store, new signage and fresh paint throughout, and other mechanical and structural changes.

The project is anticipated to start May 31 and last for ten weeks, finishing in early August. The store will remain open during the renovation as most of the work will take place at night in order to minimize disruptions of the customers’ shopping experience.
